Uplifting Others through Picture Quotes for Latter-day Saint Insights
As a designer for Latter-day Saint Insights, my duties included picking feature images and designing picture quotes for our articles. During my time there, I picked and edited 20 feature images in Adobe Photoshop and created 24 picture quotes in Adobe InDesign. Nine of those picture quotes were created within the space of two hours while a team of us were live-tweeting an event.
During my time at Latter-day Saint Insights, we rebranded our publication from Mormon Insights to Latter-day Saint Insights. (Click here to learn more about this process and our publication's new logo.) Part of the rebranding process included changing the logo at the bottom of out picture quotes. The design team all presented different ideas, but my design was the one that our staff decided to go with. I have included six of the picture quotes I designed above and below.
